Ihr redet aneinander vorbei.
Unser ukrainischer Freund sammelt zwar Retro-PCs, HIER sucht er aber für seine CPU-Sammlung einen U80601.
Vielleicht bei frassl?

..not really.
I'm searching for the pinout of an russian I17 "Standard" Tape Controller for the bulgarian CM5300.01 Tape used in the Elektronika 60 for example (Wikipedia lists it as standardcontroller) ... it seems to be totally unknown in the russia or the ukraine, nobody has one, nobody has the pinout for the connectors, nobody has a shematic..

Regards,

Holm

hm... im have new CM5300 device with all manuals and scheme but don't have any tape controlles. I want to find electronica 60 computer and this tape controller. But i don't know what is "I17" ? Tape controllers in USSR called "НМЛ" - NML (nakopitel na magnitnoi lente) "drive on magnetic tape"

In nature is present NML controllers for IBM XT computers:

http://www.tis.kz/docs/MTC-PC/MTC-PC.jpg

And here NML board for "electronica 60"

Take a look here: http://www.tiffe.de/Robotron/PDP-VAX/E60/I17.jpg

I have the docs for a similar board:

http://www.tiffe.de/Robotron/PDP-VAX/E60/I17-1.jpg
http://www.tiffe.de/Robotron/PDP-VAX/E60/I17-2.jpg
http://www.tiffe.de/Robotron/PDP-VAX/E60/I17-3.jpg

But this isn't the same, it has a single 50 Pin connector where my board here has two connected in parallel 40 pin connectors (there are more differences).
I have the docs for the CM5300.01 too and the drive also, but since all the signals are only going to bipolar devices like 74245 or 74374 and the board has a a K1804 (Am2901) bit slice CPU the signals could be everything...

There are long and short names for most of the boards in a E60, The I17 is the short one, another is MC2707. I have the docs and the schematics for almost all of the other boards. Do you see my avatar? Thats the M2 CPU of the E60...
Here are docs for the other boards with this short names as you can see:

http://www.tis.kz/forum/topic.php?forum=28&topic=3

I've looked at www.tis.kz this moment, I know about that page, I think he has newer controllers for the CM5300.01 with an K580IK80 on them, half size boards only.
Another one on this page is build out of I3000 Chips (K589..), this one is even better, it has two 64 pin connectors... nothing is similar to mine.

Andrey_AK and Kaldych are names that are known to me, I think Oleg ("Form", from pdp11.ru) from Novosibirsk has already contacted them about my problem...

It would be really nice if you could ask there for news in this regard for me, we need to get the tape up and running to write a boot tape for the Robotron K1630 in Merseburg.
This is another PDP11 clone, but a really weird one with some special bus chips that needs initialization before the hardware can be accessed. The machine can only read 800BPI Tapes and my DEC TZ07 can only write 1600 and 6250BPI...

Yes, I know, I can read some Russian, but can't write it anymore..

You should better have written "one of the possible electronica 60 NML Boards.."

my CM5300 have that connector, one long...

I have "Andrey_AK" in ICQ, and ask him about that.
But i don't know about anybody who can read tape in ex-USSR

All problems is gold ( Soviet computers have many gold and palladium
In 90-s it was a great temptation, when many people don't have a work, and who work, have food as salary. You can pass for scrap big computer and buy a car, or pass some small desktop and have money like few good salaries. Now we have a crumb

And anybody don't know what is that! This is one computer in all ex-USSR. No any models here only in boards some "Л600000.хххх"
People think this is some from CM-1803/04 series/ Computer don't have keyboard, maybe need terminal? And don't starting (i think bad capacitors but can't try now)

@monoxrom
We are searching since many years for a bootable tape for our CM1600 computer in the museum.
The names of the OS were: MOOS 1600, OMOS 1600, LAOS 1600, MUTOS 1600 and AWOS.
Seems these OS are died out in Germany.

Do you know any CM1600 / K1630 / K1620 computer has survived in your country?
Or somebody who may own such software?

The machine may look like this:
http://robotrontechnik.de/bilder/Grossrechner/K1600/A6401_2_k.jpg
or like this:

The interesting thing is, that the I17 Controller is listed in the russian wikipedia, so this thing must at least be known to someone..

"Интерфейс И17 («Электроника МС 2707») предназначен для подключения к МикроЭВМ накопителя на магнитной ленте 15ВМЛ-10-001."

I think you aren't that much curios about that, that I don't know anythimg about your computer...

Schreib einfach mal den Autor an. Die betreffende Zeile müsste sich über die Historie zuordnen lassen...

Yes i dont know many about big old computers. Very few of them are present in this day. I'm have 26 years old, and my first computer in 386 in 1998
---------------
"The names of the OS were: MOOS 1600, OMOS 1600, LAOS 1600, MUTOS 1600 and AWOS."

Near 8 years i'm interested for old computers, but these OS names i hear for the first time. But if i find some tapes with this OS i will know - this is very rare
---------------

I have PM with a proposal to purchase 80601 CPU
