I have bought a K8915 computer, sadly the seller did not do a good job packing it and the unit arrived smashed.

What is the worst the CRT was also damaged.

I have started to look for a replacement but I do not understand one thing:
K7222 schematics list a M31-340 type CRT that is 90 angle deflection tube.

While my unit used Z31-101KA tube by Unitra Zelos (polish production).

There is no much known about Z31-101KA tube other than it was used interchangeably with M31-310 tube. They are both 110 angle deflection tube.

I have checked my other K7222 monitors and they all used M31-310 tubes (by different manufacturers).

Is this an error in the schematics or there were different revisions of K7222 monitors that used different deflection angle tubes?

In Monitor ist die B31G21 das ist die B31G1 mit grüner Leuchtschicht, die B31G1 geht auch, mit S/W Anzeige, die findet man in ,den DDR Koffer Fernsehern Combi Vision.

It was levity to choose parcel transport.
Such computers always should be picked up personally.

Well, I didn't have means to drive 1600 km (in both ways) to pick it up.

If it would be packed good I bet it would survive, the seller did really poor job with packing.

Wäre es möglich, die B31G1 in diesem Rechner durch eine 31LK Bildröhre vom Junost zu ersetzen? Paßt die Röhre von der Gesamtlänge ins Gehäuse? Die geringfügigen Änderungen von Heizung und Ablenkung sollten durchführbar sein.
Von der Halterung und dem Ablenksystem her paßt es.

Ich habe in den 80er Jahren einige Junost auf die B31G1 umgebaut. Warum sollte das nicht umgekehrt gehen? Über den Umbau gab es damals eine RFT-Serviceinformation.

ist das nur eine theoretische Frage oder hast du das wirklich vor? Macht das Sinn? Die Junost-Bildröhren waren nicht sehr haltbar, daher habe ich damals auch auf B31G1 umgebaut.
Ich hatte damals auch Zugriff auf nagelneue Junost-Bildröhren, die waren schon kurz nach dem Wechsel Schrott!

Die 31LK im k7221 geht, Halterung und Heizung muss man anpassen.
Im K7222 macht die große Ablenkeinheit für die 110 grad B31 Röhre zusätzliche Probleme, die liegt nicht richtig an der 31LK an.

Das abbrechen des Bildröhrenhals ist da nur eine Frage der Zeit

Nur rein theoretisch, ich habe schon seit langem keinen Robotron-Monitor oder Computer mehr.
Meinen PC1715 habe ich schon vor vielen Jahren an einen Interessenten abgegeben.
Vielleicht hilft es RetroNora, um Ersatz zu finden.

wie lange die Röhre hält ist nicht das Problem, 12" (31cm) Röhren ob 90° oder 110° zu bekommen ist das Problem, da hilft nur noch ausbauen aus alten TV Geräten oder Monitoren und hoffen das die Röhre noch einigermaßen ganz ist.

Die 12" Röhre des K7229 geht nicht im K7221 und K7222.

I was also thinking about using a CRT from Junost, judgeing from the schematics and 90° CRT.
If the system was designed with 110° in mind it is a great ease for me.

In Poland we had manufactured a lot of CRT TV models (Unimor Neptun 150/171, WZT Vela 201/203/206, Biazet TMP201 etc. - Neptun 150 TVs were exported into West Germany as HGS electronic branding) with 31 cm CRTs that are all interchangeable and finding a replacement is dirt cheap, like 10€ or even less.

We had also a very popular series of monitors (Neptun 156) made in Unimor in Gda?sk that used a 110° 31cm tube with green phosphor - like the one on the photo Z31-101KA (or M31-310GH).

For now my K8915 (once fixed) will have a white phosphor tube that I'll once replace if I get a green one.
